Extended Season

Traditionally in the Rangeley Region the fishing season has always come to a closure at the end of September.  Although, over the years the state of Maine has allowed certain waters to remain open until the end of October and even November under strict fly fishing only and catch and release regulations.  This includes the Following: Upper Dam, Big Kennebago Lake, Rangeley River, Dead River, Sandy River, and various small ponds.  This has been a great success!  We have discovered that there is still a lot of great fishing to be had and the backdrop of Fall foliage makes it a truly spectacular time of the year to be out and about.

So don’t put your fly rod away yet! We want to share with you all the fun we have during the extended season.  Ask us about the numerous waters that are still open.  We continue to offer our full day trips but we are also offering an Extended Season Special similar to the July-August Special which consists of a half day of guiding.

P.S.  Be on the lookout for our Cast & Blast Specials for Fall 2012
